Considering treatment at Cochin Hospital, Paris?
The Department of Interventional Radiology at Cochin Hospital AP-HP receives enquiries from patients living outside France seeking an opinion on interventional radiology treatment (embolization, tumour ablation, etc.). The first step is by email, before any travel to Paris.
What you need to send us
To allow our medical team to review your case, please email ri.cch@aphp.fr with all of the following:
- Your medical reports: consultation notes, previous operative reports if applicable, referral letter from your doctor or specialist
- Your imaging exams if available: MRI, CT scan, ultrasound โ in digital format (DICOM or the PDF report, ideally both)
- Your complete contact details: full name, date of birth, phone number, postal address, country of residence, email address
- A summary of your current medical situation and the question you would like the team to address

You send your complete file by email to ri.cch@aphp.fr
Our medical team reviews your file and imaging exams
You receive a reply by email, indicating whether treatment can be considered and the practical next steps
If treatment is confirmed, we help organise your travel and the necessary appointments
Language of documents
French and English are accepted. If your medical documents are written in another language, attaching a translation (even partial, of the key points) greatly helps our team review your file.
