The Thyroid Nodule Centre at Cochin AP-HP treats benign thyroid nodules by percutaneous ablation — without surgery, without cervical scar, and without causing hypothyroidism. Ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation (RFA), microwave ablation (MWA), or cryoablation reduce nodule volume by 50–80% at 12 months.

All nodules must have confirmed benignity on cytology (FNA — Bethesda II, III or IV with confirmation) before treatment. Classification by TIRADS ultrasound score guides surveillance and indication. Fully reimbursed by French national health insurance. No patient fees.
